You should also be able to demonstrate your knowledge on how to use the vehicle lighting properly and respond accordingly to other vehicle lighting including the emergency vehicle lighting.
Preparation for the Next Lesson (In the event that you have not completed all 12 lessons yet)
To attain the expected results for your next lesson, you should complete lesson 1 to 8 and lesson 12.
You and your ADI should discuss your lessons, which basing on their judgment you may also have completed some or the entire lessons 9, 10 and 11. The reason is that Lessons 9 to 12 can be taken in no particular order.
Before you start with your next lesson, you should ask your ADI for recommendations regarding to the study material, practice and driving lessons to take.
Practice Makes Perfect
If you want to feel confident in attaining the learning objectives, you should read the expected results for the next lesson, which you have agreed with your ADI. You should have also done enough practice under the direct supervision with your ADI or Sponsor or both and done relevant study.
For at least three hours, you should also have practiced how to respond to the lights of other road users while you maintain full control of your vehicle as you drive through traffic in the dark or whenever there is poor lighting condition.
Under the Rules of the Road, you should also read the section that tackles night driving and driving in poor weather and lighting conditions.
Finally, all the feedbacks given by your ADI should be acted upon at the end of your last EDT lesson.
